Why does GearPods only ship via Fedex Ground?
Many of our kits include either waterproof/windproof matches and/or solid fuel tablets, both of which are classified as hazardous or flammable materials. As such these kits must be shipped via ground/surface and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, APO, FPO or international addresses (we cannot ship to PO boxes either).

Unfortunately our ecommerce software does not allow us to flag certain products as requiring special shipping and, until such time that a better solution presents itself, we reluctantly ship all orders via Fedex Ground. This will only add a couple of extra days to delivery.

Do you offer free shipping?
GearPods offers free Fedex Ground shipping on all US orders over $99.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we are shipping world-wide. However this internet store is for US customers only. Please email us or call us at 800.891.2670 for further information on how we can process and ship your international order.

What fuel is recommended for the GearPods® Hexagon Stove?
We recommend Esbit® Fuel Tablets that are available from GearPods and many outdoor retailers. Denatured alcohol (for use with the GearPods Hexagon Burner) is available from most hardware stores.

Do GearPods fit into a bike water cage?
Water bottle cages vary in diameter (as do water bottles). While it may be possible to fit your GearPods into your existing water bottle cage, we recommend the adjustable Topeak Modula Cage. We like this cage - it's durable and provides a nice tight fit with your GearPods kits.

Does GearPods offer any courtesy pricing to public service employees?
GearPods has partnered with Leo Adventures to provide special pricing on GearPods-manufactured products to full-time US public service employees – Federal, State and Local. It’s our way of saying “thanks”. This special pricing is available for GearPods Multi-Kit SystemsIndividual Kits, and Connect components and starter kits. My Discount Code from Leo Adventures is not working
Contact Leo Adventures to check that the coupon code is current. For security reasons, GearPods periodically issues Leo Adventures with a new code. Note also that this code cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions, and that it is limited to GearPods-manufactured products (and not products from other manufacturers that GearPods represents).

GearPods is committed to your complete satisfaction, and we stand behind every product we make. We want you to be delighted with every aspect of dealing with GearPods.

All GearPods products are covered against manufacturer defect by our one-year GearPods Warranty. Repairs covered by the GearPods Warranty will be provided to you free of charge. For repairs not covered by the GearPods Warranty we will charge reasonable repair costs that we will ask you to approve in advance.

In addition to a comprehensive one-year warranty against defect, we offer the following satisfaction guarantee: If you are not entirely satisfied with one of our products, return it to us for replacement, refund or credit within 30-days of initial purchase. Products returned or exchanged must be in their original condition. If your product is returned in its original condition, you will be refunded the cost of the product.

Easy Repairs, Exchanges and Returns
For any issues concerning product returns, please email our Customer Service department anytime at service@gearpods.com or call 800.891.2670 during our normal business hours (9am-5pm MST, Monday through Friday) and we will issue you a Return Authorization Number and return instructions.

International Shipping Policy (Rest of World)
We ship GearPods products world-wide. Any items prohibited from air freight are removed prior to shipping orders. These items are NATO matches and Esbit Solid Fuel Tablets, both of which are found in the following products: GearPods Survival, GearPods Survival Pro, GearPods Backcountry, GearPods Wilderness, GearPods Warden, and GearPods Frontier.
