GearPods Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping (USA)
Many of our kits contain items such as waterproof/windproof matches and solid fuel tablets. These items are classified as hazardous or flammable materials and as such must be shipped via ground/surface. Unfortunately our ecommerce software does not allow us to flag certain products as requiring special shipping and, until such time that a better solution presents itself, we reluctantly ship all US orders via ground/surface.

We provide a choice between Fedex and USPS.  We offer Fedex Ground to business addresses and Fedex Home Delivery for residential addresses. Fedex is more expensive than USPS but generally faster and more reliable. We also offer USPS Parcel Post. USPS tends to be cheaper but slower and less reliable.

For customers in Alaska, Hawaii, APO, or FPO addresses, please select USPS Parcel Post.

GearPods offers free USPS ground shipping on all US orders over $75.

International Shipping (Rest of World)
GearPods ships worldwide and offers a choice between Fedex or USPS for shipping partner. Fedex tends to be more expensive than USPS but generally faster and more reliable. USPS will keep your shipping costs down but it will be slower.

Any items prohibited from air freight are removed prior to shipping international orders. These items are NATO matches and Esbit Solid Fuel Tablets.

International orders are identified as Merchandise. Please check with your local customs office regarding any applicable taxes or fees that may be due.
